When you use Peeps, we collect your player name, avatar customization choices, and device tokens for push notifications. If you link your account via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your Apple or Google email address solely to identify your account across devices.
We store your game progress including photo records, photos (uploaded to secure cloud storage), unlocked cosmetics, gacha pull history, coin and PCoins balance, pet data, and room memberships.
Messages sent in game rooms are stored and visible to other players in the same room. Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, etc.) in chat.
We collect product analytics to understand how the game is used and to improve it. This includes session duration, screens and features interacted with, device model and OS version, and app lifecycle events. These events are associated with your player ID so we can measure behavior across sessions, but we do not sell this data. Analytics is processed by PostHog, Inc. (US) and Google (Firebase Analytics). See "Data Sharing" below for details.
If you purchase a PRIME subscription, our subscription provider RevenueCat, Inc. processes the purchase and shares your subscription status with us — including the product purchased, the store (Apple App Store), purchase and expiration dates, and an anonymized subscriber identifier. We do not receive or store your credit card or other payment-card details; those are handled by Apple.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Game data is stored in PostgreSQL, real-time session data in Redis, and photos in S3-compatible secure cloud storage. Product analytics events are processed by PostHog, Inc. (stored in the United States) and Google Firebase Analytics. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information. Your data is only visible to other players in shared game rooms (player name, avatar, messages, photos). We use third-party analytics processors — PostHog, Inc. (https://posthog.com/privacy) and Google Firebase Analytics (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy) — to understand product usage. Analytics events are linked to your player ID but are not combined with data from other services to build cross-app profiles, and we do not use them for advertising. We also use RevenueCat, Inc. (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) to process subscription purchases and manage PRIME entitlements; payment itself is handled by the Apple App Store.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Analytics and subscription records held by our processors are retained according to their respective terms.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights; we do not sell your personal information. Peeps involves photo sharing and social interaction. We recommend it for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
